CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the physiological system named the CranioSacral system. CST is being used increasingly as a preventative health measure for its ability to bolster your body’s resistance to disease and sustain overall good health.
The CranioSacral system extends from the bones and connective tissues of your face, mouth and skull (cranium) down to your tailbone (sacrum). It is comprised of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround, protect and nurture the brain and spinal cord.

A CST therapy session takes place in a quiet and private setting. As a client, you would lie down on a treatment table and remain fully clothed.

CST releases tension and restrictions deep within the body to relieve pain and dysfunction as it also dissipates the negative effects of stress on the central nervous system.

CST enhances the body’s natural healing process and has been effective for a wide range of conditions associated with pain and dysfunction including:
   • migraines and headaches
   • concussions
   • chronic neck and back pain
   • motor coordination impairments
   • stress and tension related problems
   • infantile disorders
   • traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries
   • chronic fatigue
   • central nervous system disorders
   • TMJ syndrome (temporomandibular joint)
   • learning disabilities
   • emotional difficulties
   • post-traumatic stress disorder

We recommend that clients wear loose, comfortable clothing. The CST session usually lasts between forty-five minutes to an hour.
